Hoppy’s Story

In a small garden tended by a young girl whose family was affected by cancer, a special sunflower grew. Each day, she nurtured it, drawing strength from its bright, hopeful petals. Inspired by her love and resilience, a seed of hope took root — blossoming into Hoppy, a cheerful mascot embodying the warmth of a sunflower and the strength of a heart.

Hoppy emerged with a mission: to spread joy, hope, and awareness about cancer prevention. Adorned with a red heart-shaped poncho symbolising love and community, Hoppy brings comfort and courage wherever it appears. With a friendly smile and warm glow, Hoppy encourages everyone to make healthy choices that protect them — just like a poncho shields from rain.

The sunflower-inspired hair on Hoppy’s head is a constant reminder of resilience and the power of positive lifestyle habits. Wherever Hoppy goes, it shares the message: “Together, we can take small steps every day to prevent cancer.”

Through joy and hope, Hoppy inspires us all to live healthily and happily, and to support one another in the fight against cancer.
